Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and My Echo Path LLC ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of the MyEchoVerdict app and website (the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The Service

MyEchoVerdict lets you record a decision, belief, or plan and your reasoning, receive an AI-generated counter-argument or blind spot, and later record what actually happened. Features, including AI-generated content, are provided for reflection and personal decision-support.

Not professional advice

Your account

• You must be at least 17 years old to use the Service.
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Your content

You retain ownership of the decisions, reasoning, and outcomes you enter ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you — including sending your reasoning to our AI provider to generate challenges, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to submit it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to harm others.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, or that infringes others' rights.
• Resell, scrape, or misuse the Service or its AI features.

Subscriptions & billing

• Free tier is available with a limited number of challenges per month.
• MyEchoVerdict Pro is an auto-renewing subscription: $4.99/month or $34.99/year, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Prices may vary by region and are shown at purchase.
• Purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Payment is charged at confirmation, and the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. If you don't cancel your trial before it ends, it converts to a paid subscription.
• Except where required by law or store policy, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple or Google.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and the MyEchoVerdict name and logo, is owned by My Echo Path LLC and protected by law. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated content. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Echo Path LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on AI-generated content or your decisions. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by notice in the app or on this site. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where local consumer law provides otherwise. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Georgia for disputes not subject to binding arbitration or a small-claims option where available.
